Saad and Suay Al-Aziz are a husband and wife team who believe that "Brazilian Jiu Jitsu saves lives!" They are committed to sharing their love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Ginastica Natural with you.
We believe that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is for everybody and should be accessible to anyone who is interested. We believe in creating a family friendly environment that is appropriate for students of all ages. We also believe that family should always come first and emphasize family values between team members in order to develop trust and genuine camaraderie.
Saad Al-Aziz is a certified black belt by both the IBJJF and FJJ Rio. While stationed in Jacksonville, Florida Saad trained with 8th degree Coral belt Luiz Palhares for three years and recived his 1st degree on his black belt from Master Palhares. Saad earned a black belt in Hapkido from Jung Bai Lee in 2002. In addition, he holds a Masters of Health Administration degree from Baylor University. Saad recently retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Commander after having served for 33 years for our country.
Suay Al-Aziz received her black belt from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu pioneer Luiz Palhares who is an 8th degree coral belt. She holds the distinction of beings one of only two females to ever be promoted by Master Palhares to black belt. Suay is a brown belt in Judo and holds a Level 3 Ginastica Natural instructor certification from Ginastica Natural founder Alvaro Romano. Suay holds an Associate of Arts degree from Central Texas College. She is a highly sought after instructor for ladies self-defense classes as well as Ginastica Natural and has taught many classes and seminars in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Illinois and Texas. Suay is also an Ambassador for the Girls in Gis organization and frequently travels with them teaching seminars. In addition, she is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served for 9 years honorably.
